What is the best/healthiest brand of rabbit food? I have two rabbits. One is a female (spayed) Holland lop mix about 5 ½ years old. And the other is a female Mini Rex about 3 ½ years old.

        Thanks for any help!!!

A lot of people use Oxbow. Mazuri is good too, I would get the chinchilla formula for my chinchillas. I’m sure there are others.

In terms of pellets, I’ve been using Kaytee, since I can’t find anything else around here that’s just the pellets without seeds and crap in it. For hay, I prefer Oxbow timmy hay.

I like Oxbow, its a good, high quality timothy pellet, and my buns adore them.

Please see the BB Diet page: https://binkybunny.com/BUNNYINFO/Diet/tabid/60/Default.aspx

This page lists the nutritional requirements that your pellets should meet. Print out this info and compare each line to the food you are feeding, or you can check online because many manufacturers have that info available there as well.

Not many brands meet the requirements. The only two I know of that are spot-on are Oxbow and American Pet Diner. There are others like Zupreem that are close.

We just had a thread where everyone listed their brand of choice, so you can refer to that as well rather than starting a whole new one:
