Has anyone tried the new flavored Craisins for their bunnies yet?  I have given my bunnies the blueberry flavor and they like them. I bought the Pomegranate but have not tried them yet.  They are flavored with juice and have sugar still- but they smell really good.  But I know that they need to be limited due to the added sugar and juice.  I got the Blueberry package already opened from a friend- but bought the Pomegranate and thought about making muffins for myself since I love those 2 flavors.

i think I am going to put the bunnies Craisins into a container as opposed to original package so maybe if they are exposed to more air in a Rubbermaid treat container maybe they will be less sticky.

Sorry if this has already been discussed- but I did not notice a mention of these yet.

They’ve been up here in our stores for about a year or so. I didn’t want to try them for fear they had the extra sugars that my buns don’t need, as it is I don’t give them out that often for that raisin…err…reason. lolz…
Of course, perhaps it would be advantageous to get an extra bag of maybe the blueberry ones. I find myself eating them whenever I open the bag for the bunnies…and then sometimes when I haven’t. o_0
I think my craisins get stickier after they’ve been opened for awhile, not at first. Probably due to our whack humidity. Where do you get the container that you use, Kat?

Mmmm…muffins. I’ll be there as soon as possible with tea mug in hand! ^_^

I think I’m going to buy a bag of craisins. I’ve never given them to the buns before but they are cheaper than the papaya treats I buy.

I’ve tried the pomegranate ones with a pair of buns I bunny sat last week and they liked them. I always serve the regular craisins to my buns and they love those.

I saw the blueberry ones and thought of Chacha instantly. She has had a fresh blueberry but wouldn’t eat it.. but she seems to love her craisins lol!

That’s cool! I haven’t seen those in stores before.

We used those types of products all the time in my last job. If we needed a “blueberry” cookie they would just source blueberry flavored craisins and put those in. Much cheaper for big food companies than actual dried blueberries and things. I remember thinking they’d be pretty successful sold in stores.
