Im looking after 2 rabbits of a friend and im really worried about one of them. She hides away much more then she did when i first started looking after them (10 days ago) and ive noticed some diarrhea around the cage. She is about 5 months old and quite small (i think she might be a dwarf rabbit) so im worried she will get dehydrated.

I dont know what to do…since she isnt my rabbit i feel like i should get her checked out by a vet or something but if this is not threatening to her health i dont want to waste £30 or whatever on vet fees…help?

Can you contact your friend to find out what she wants you to do?

Were you given contact info for your friend’s rabbit vet? At 5 months, diarrhea or “loose poop” could be a sign of poor diet, or it could be a more serious intestinal parasite that can be fatal if no treatment is provided. I would want to take the bun for a vet visit if it were me. Just in case.
