Luna LOVES a frozen fruit bar! I let her nibble off mine and when I’m done she likes to chew on the stick. Is this ok? They are made with real fruit but have alot of sugar.

Monkey likes a tiny nibble of my popsicles in the summer. I give her one nibble, and thats it. Too much sugar for more than that

As long as it’s just fruit juice and sugar, it’s fine for her to have a little nibble. My bunnies love having fruit juice ice cubes and whole frozen berries. I’ve even made them “bunny popsicles” by sticking popsicle sticks into fruit juice ice cubes. It’s cute to see them taking tiny nibbles (and probably getting the bunny equivalent of brain freeze).

I had a natural fruit bar the other night and I offered some to Olivia. It was so funny. She licked it, chinned it, then repeated both several times before taking a bite out of it. Then she wanted more and wouldn’t leave me alone while I ate it.

I wouldn’t let her have more than about 2 bites, though. It is very, very sugary and the cold isn’t all that great on their sensitive tummies, so just a little taste is plenty. But leaving the juice flavor and drippings on the stick and letting her chew on that – I like that idea.

How cute! I agree with the others that a nibble can’t hurt and I like the idea of giving her the stick.

It was very cute. Luna will be happy to know that I have the go ahead.
