I had cady neutered on tuesday and Im not positive what the post-op should look like…his testicles are hanging out and look like they could be very slightly swollen, but he has unusually large ones anyway so it could just be me getting worried for no reason…theres no discharge hes acting pretty normally, it doesnt look bright red or anything. Im just curious what everyone elses experiences have been…

They will be slightly swollen and then over time they will shrink.

lol why do men take such pleasure in their pets testicles? o.O my bf got all upset because I mentioned neutering our male, he was like “but he has such nice big ones!” … weirdos

Swelling is normal, just keep an eye out for any signs of infection – redness, hotter than normal skin, pus, that “sick smell” that infected skin gets.

Yeah just wanted to add- After V was neutered, I peeked at the incision sight and OH MY! I actually thought they forgot to neuter him. Haha. It went down after a few days. It takes a bit for the, uh… “sack” to shrink back up into their bellies too.
