So this may sound stupid because it seems like everyone has the complete opposite problem, but Tait is about 4 months old now and he hasn’t really been shedding at all.

Is this something I should be concerned about, or just count myself lucky? I have tried a few different brushes ( have lots with two dogs around ) and I havent gotten more than just a few hairs each time. I would like to order the furbuster comb from BB, but I just can’t afford the shipping all the way up here atm even though the brush is so cheap In the last couple months it has gone from -20 to +20 degrees celcius so I thought I’d see a bit of an increase in hair? or is this just because he is a baby?

        Thanks!

It sounds normal, from my experience.

Chacha did not shed until she was about 8 months to a year old.

Some rabbits will shed more than others. The last explosion that I’ve had was in the Winter, beginning of the year.. talk about hair up a slave’s nose -_-

Since your bunny is still rather young, you may not see a molt until at least 6 months. I have heard that the first molt is the worst….so thank your lucky stars now! LOL.

Hair hair everywhere.. even in.. yeah

Be prepared! you might need a mask. The fur will get everywhere.

                yep…it’s a comin!

I have noticed that Jack and Vivian don’t molt as much in their senior years. I don’t know if it is age related (but I am happy), or if it’s just that the temperatures where I live have been a bit mild all year round.

Haha ok, I didn’t think much of it until the horses started shedding and I’m like wait a minute 6-8 months hits right at a season change here to so I bet it will be a big one then.
