When ever Momo is being a little trouble maker and is told off, she loves to flick her back feet at me, and shake those great big ears. At first I thought all the ear shaking was maybe due to dirty ears, but no. Just her being a Queen B. Part of me is thinking she may actually enjoy making trouble and displaying her defiance. Bratty teenagers.

puppet literally turns a cold shoulder. you’ll reach to pet him, and he’ll turn his head away and walk off. it’s like he’s pretending he didn’t see you there. rue…. rue is a true brat. there’s a reason we call him a little princess! (yes, now we know he’s male, but “prince” just doesn’t convey the same attitude!) i get foot flicks and thumps and ear shakes and something that sounds very much like a put-upon sigh. he just gives you that look. you know the one. the one that says, “i’m better than you.”.

Oh darn… footflicks and thumps. There was one day, I let Chacha into my bedroom and she was doing her laps around the apartment. Whenever she could run into MY ROOM, she would STOMP, run out of my room, come back and STOMP again.

Otto usually gives me bunny butt, flicks his feet, or pushes my hand away with his head. Sometimes while he’s shoving my hand away he’ll actually put his teeth on me to show he means it. Haha. Last week I tried to pet him he grunted and boxed me. He’s never done that before! He was not a happy camper.

Hannah doesn’t really have any bunnitude. She makes the best facial expressions, but they’re usually curious or freaked out, not disapproving. The worst thing she does is chase Otto around and nip him in the bum, pulling out fur. She’s a big sweetheart with us though.

Lolli gives me her regal disapproving look. Or just hops away. Sometimes she’ll growl or box at me. Very rarely does she bite. She looks grumpy all the time, but I don’t think she is. Even when she’s happy and binkying, she’s just has that disapproving face. lol

Now Eddie……holy cow. I’d just look at him and he’d turn around and give me his butt. He’d foot flick, thump, shake his head at me, bite. The whole range. lol

Ralphie thumps when he’s insistent on something: attention, treats, etc. He never flicks his feet at me, but he sure does that to my boyfriend!

Huckleberry loves her daddy and hates when he goes in the bedroom because she is not supposed to be in there. She chews/digs at the door and when I tell her “no” she shakes her head, binkies, and races off.
She likes to get on my drawing table and eat my paint brushes after I have brushed her.

There was one day, I let Chacha into my bedroom and she was doing her laps around the apartment. Whenever she could run into MY ROOM, she would STOMP, run out of my room, come back and STOMP again.

Alex does this whenever he comes into the room that I use as an office.  It’s like part of his routine.  He runs in, stomps, and runs under the futon in there.  I feel like he’s saying “I’m a big bad bunny, and this is MY ROOM.”

My favorite display of “rabbitude” was my very first bun.  I got Thumper Amelia right after a bad break-up with a long-term bf.  It was a looong time before I dated anyone else, and a loooong time before anyone spent the night.  So finally I was dating this guy, and he spent the night.  The next day, Thumper Amelia started thumping over by the end of the couch, near the corner of the room.  I went over to see what was going on . . . there were TWO puddles of urine there!

She was completely litter trained.  I bet she had peed there to express her displeasure about the new person getting my attention, and when I didn’t notice (it wasn’t a highly visible corner), she peed again.  When I still didn’t notice, she went over there and thumped to get my attention!  Little brat!

Of course, Lagomorphic! Bunnies not only work themselves into our hearts, but into our homes too! Literally!

They own us.. what can I say? I don’t think I would have it any other way. I’m even growing a bunch of plants for her..

I will have to get a good shot of one of Pip’s classic stinkeye routines. She literally looks like she could melt you with her glare.

Mimzy knows I lost my heart to him the day we met…so all he has to do to bother me is turn his back and give me bunny butt. In seconds I am falling all over myself to make him happy again. (I’m such a dork.)

Fiver will thump and whine. I’ve never heard a bunny whine before…it is the most pathetic sound you’ll ever hear. Definitely gets my attention. But mostly he speaks volumes with the bottom of his foot. He is also a classic grunter. I get more oinks out of him than I would out of a hungry piglet. Pip will grunt too, but I don’t hear it very often because I know when she does, my hand is within lethal reach of her teeth. So I run for my life.

Lucy charges, but just with my husband. A lot of times when she’s on the bed, if her butt isn’t in his face receiving some fanning (he sleeps with a fan on and she loves it all up on her butt), she’ll charge him. He’s got to offer a banana or something of her liking before he can sit or lay down. What can I say, she was here first.

She’ll also move things away. If I feed her late, as I go to set her bowl down, she’ll grab it from me and whip it across the cage and spill pellets everywhere.

                                I love her.

I get bunny loafs with the stink eye. I can almost feel my skin being burned from my body with some of her death glares.

Charcoal was giving me the stink-eye and tries to pry off the make shift splash guard I made for her potty corner… I took her away from the area, but she ran back to it and does the same thing. She’s dodging my attempts to pet her and just thumps near the potty area. I came to realize she wants me to clean it! I just cleaned it the day before, but there’s a mound of poop sitting there (it’s her poop literally pilled up like a mound!). She continuously gives me the stink eye and the snub treatment until I took the darn litter box out and said to her ”It’s not my fault you poop too much! Don’t be so demanding!”…. Then I return the box cleaned she she became all floppy and submissive to me petting her.

She does this whenever she feels her potty corner isn’t as spotless as she like it to be, even if I just cleaned it the day before! I swear I’m just a help to her!

And she gives out one big HUFF and the glare of death when she’s caught or if I’m trying to put coax her off the bed when I want to sleep…

(this photo was from a few weeks ago… she’s bigger now, but yeah, she takes over the same spot and I had to sleep in a curled up position so not to disturb her majesty)

                                      Rabbitude indeed.

I thought the honking/grunting and slapping at me would stop after Gabby’s spay. No way, now she does it more. I tell her she better be glad she’s cute even though she’s a rotten turd butt. If I can’t let her in the living room with us and try to move her away from the gate she does the honk/grunt noise and sometimes slaps at your foot at the same time.

She just did it to my husband a couple of days ago and it shocked him that she scratched his foot. My daughter laughed cause it startled him. I just laugh at her when she does it to me.

Tonight when I was giving Oreo a few treats, I held them in my hands in my lap so she’d have to come get them. Well apparently she didn’t like that because she started running in circles around me and then sat down and STOMPED!! Little brat She’s never done that before and I was so surprised that I cracked up laughing (and she looked at me like I was mental). I had to give her the treats before she threw an even bigger tantrum
