I thought I was getting lucky.  lol  I am buying a different brand of organic spring baby mix. I had bought it before but quit after the first couple of tubs because it contained a lot of cabbage.  So I bought it again and up until this last tub, the cabbage has been very minimal.  The last tub contained a lot.  I picked most of the cabbage out as I read that they shouldn’t have a lot of cabbage.  So my question is:

How much cabbage can she have?

Some hunks were quite large and I didn’t give it to her.  But a few smaller pieces got through and she ate them.  Which surprised me cause she normally doesn’t eat “new” stuff.  lol   Am I being paranoid again?  It won’t be a major part of her diet.  I just want to know how much I should worry about her cabbage intake.  lol

I wouldn’t feed too much cabbage, as it can cause gas in alot of buns.

That’s what I thought. She’s only gotten maybe 2 pieces per feeding and they were smaller than the rest of the lettuce. Cause momma doesn’t have money for any vet bills – especially right now!

Yep, better to be safe than sorry, especially with a bun who has a habit of getting poopy butt

Yes, we don’t need poopy butt around here.

I never see cabbage mentioned on a preferred veggie list (HRS or BB’s). I’ve never fed cabbage to my rabbits. But I’ve seen Bok Choy mentioned.

Well at least I was correct in being paranoid about it. LOL I tried to pick out all the cabbage but when I’d drop a handful into her pen, there would usually be a piece. D’oh!
