My adorable little banner loves to jump up and rest his front feet on the bars of the xpen when I come into the room.  Thing is, he always does it right by his water bowl, so when he comes down, he steps in the bowl.  He’s also just walked over and stepped in the same bowl.  Merry has never done this….

Is this something to worry about (I’m worried because in one of my rabbit books – maybe the HRS one? there’s an article about sick bunnies and I thought I remembered something about one of them putting its feet in its water ) or is it just that Banner’s an awkward teenager and just a clutz? lol

Not sure, Samson puts his front paws in his water a lot, then he sits and grooms himself. weirdo.

haha that’s exactly what I say to Banner when he does it. Weirdo! Maybe Samson wants to feel extra fresh? I actually just got an image of a 1950’s greaser putting the goop in his hair and then doing that distinctive combing thing.

Haha he’s totally like a little greaser. I die laughing when he cleans his ears

TimTim does this too! It must be a silly boybun thing. ;o)
Same as Banner, he lands in it after standing over it. I’ve picked him up straight after before and his feet didn’t even seem wet. Like they’re water resistant. I can understand your concern with your rex boy though.

heh glad Banner’s not the only one!
Oh ha, speaking of things that bunnies remind you of… when Banner squats down in a certain way and you look at him from above… he looks like a rotisserie chicken.

It has come to my attention that there are still no pictures of these webfooted wascally wabbits.

Don’t make me get the poking stick…..

Do rotisserie chickens have webbed feet? I can actually picture Banner “doing the chicken” impression. Lol

If you are worried about it though, could you try one of those bowls that clip on to cage sides or even switch to a water bottle? I don’t normally recommend bottles as I prefer bowls myself but they are fine provided they’re always in working order.

Ouch RP, stop that! Mmm, how come we have spam & trolling alerts but no poking alert option?!

Edit to add: Anyone remember these Is it a Rabbit or a Duck pictures?

Ok, so you have to tip your head to the right and squint. A lot. He doesn’t look so much like a duck but some sort of aquatic bird don’t you think?

Just caught my blu doing this today those pretty funny try to take a picture to show my husband but of course by the time I got my camera he was out

But I seen some comments about yellow feet
I just had gotten my bunny July 4th from some friends
And he had yellow feet it was pretty bad
I try to wash it and it helped a little bit
So I started to changing his litter every 2 days his yellow feet disappeared
Now it’s been a month and he has no yellow feet
So just make sure you change their litter every couple days
