My Zelda bun has a big round spot under her skin by her shoulder. It’s very soft. at first I thought it was a fat deposit, as she’s gained some weight recently, but I’m not sure it  is. It feels kind of like a fluid filled sac. It moves about when pressed/touched, but doesn’t seem to be causing her any pain.

any Ideas what this could be? cause for concern or alarm? pefectly normal?

Zelda is in between 2 and 3 years old I think.

It does sound like a fat pocket. My bunny, Jack has those, but he’s also a Senior bunny and more prone to those too.

If I were you thought, I would still have it checked out by a vet to make sure, as it is impossible for me to know for sure!

Thanks. I know she’s gained quite a lot of weight lately, she’s been eating more. I’ll see about booking an appointment soon.

That sounds a bit off to me. I like to book appts. with the vet for things like a nail trim, so it’s worth the trip, and let them know that there’s a spot you want to vet to examine while you’re there. It may cost more, but it gives the visit a dual purpose.

Sometimes fatty deposits are easy to identify by a vet just by them feeling the lump. But better safe than sorry- so you should definitely ask about it.
