Can I cut the little hairs around Bunnies bum? I picked him up today and he had 6 or 7 poops stuck in his fur, along with some little dreads with poop bits in it. I brushed most of it out, but it’s still yellow, and there’s a little bit there…

Yes, you can cut it out. Just be very careful you don’t snip his skin or his peepee. I don’t know what else to call it. lol

LOL his “boy stuff” works for me! Good to know, I just wanted to make sure it didn’t serve some sort of purpose or something.

Eddie had longer fur and he would always have a few fully formed poops stuck in his fur too. If I couldn’t lightly pull them out, I just snipped them out. For those bunnies with chronic poopy butt, a sanitary shave is sometimes done to keep the area clean better as well. I think the fur is just to protect the area/skin.
