My Bunny toby is 9 months old around, and he has started to be come SLIGHTLY less lively, he seems to be panting all the time and his coat seems to be a bit more dulll and his nose  abit bigger/puffier but he is growing bigger all over so i dont know wether its a symptom of an illness or wether its naturally bigger. His tummy feels abit squishy but he is eating. and i dont know wether he is ill, most likely i know he is proberly. but ive taken him to the vet 4 times in 3 months and its been un neccisary but i take them all the time when i think there ill because i had an ill pet which died , so i want to make sure my bunnies now are healthy . I dont know wether its him growing and change in personality or wether he is ill.

I know, with all these simptoms i seem like a horrible rabbit owner i just dont know what im doing! im a first timer here

You’re not a horrible bunny owner. And it’s never a bad thing to take a bunny to the vet when in doubt.

Is he eating and pooping? Is there any discharge coming from his eyes or nose?

When was the last time you noticed him pooping? Is he grinding his teeth loudly? Does he normally stretch out? If he hasn’t pooped in 12 hours (like since yesterday), I would take him to the vet. He might just have an episode of gas, but then it might be something serious too.

What is his diet like? Does he get limited pellets, veggies and unlimited hay?

I would take him to the vet again. Excessive cecals could be a number of things from not enough hay to an actual digestive disorder.

Sometimes they just don’t eat as much hay as you would think. A lot of bunnies prefer pellets over the hay (my bunnies at least!) so you should not be giving him unlimited pellets at his age. Follow the feeding directions on the back according to weight. It’s good that you are taking him to the vet though! It never hurts to get looked at! Good luck!
