Cruz, my recently adopted lionhead has figured out how to jump on my bed. (first he jumps on my textbooks that are on the floor then on my bed) Doesn’t bother me one bit, I like when he comes and says hello first.  He’s a little weird though and in the middle of the night he’ll do it a few times and he basically will start by jumping on my shoulder when I’m sleeping and then he jumps on my face.  Anyone else have a rabbit that does this?  Is he just seeing what’s going on or trying to wake me up or something else?  I find it really, really odd.

Yeah, sounds like he just wants to check you out or is wanting you up with him. My Eddie used to jump up on me on the couch in the mornings. Drove me nuts making all kinds of racket, etc. until I finally got up. Then he’d go take a nap….like his mission was accomplished. lol

He just wants to play or bother you. This is why Nibbler isn’t allowed in the bedroom at night anymore. He used to jump on the bed and hop around my  head in circles and dig in my hair and nibble at my pajamas. This was not fun at 3AM when I had to be up at 6 to get ready for classes and such. What was really funny was he never bothered my husband who sleeps right next to me, just me. *sigh*

My Elena wakes me up every morning that I’m not up before her 1st. She usually jumps on the bed and sticks her nose somewhere near my face (I can feel her whiskers). If that isn’t successful she’ll continue to jump off and on the bed until I wake up. I’ve had her jump and sit on my shoulder when laying on my side & I’ve had the bunny 500 run right across my chest. I think it kinda cute… unless I wanted to sleep in that day
