My bun gets 1/4 cup of pellets per day and right now we’re transitioning slowly on to Oxbow since what I picked up originally was not great. She gets them in the morning before I go to work, around 8am. Sometimes when I get home, around 6pm, it will look like she’s barely touched the pellets and other days they’ll be almost gone by then. She does get unlimited hay while I’m gone and shows no signs of GI issues. She is a *very* regular pooper She also gets veggies at night at about 10pm.

I’m just wondering if this is typical for buns to be more interested in pellets one day than another? I figure their appetite must be like ours, I know some days I wake up feeling like I could eat a feast and others I’m not so hungry. Just curious if anyone else’s buns are like this

Zelda’s the same. Sometimes she’ll eat her pellets like there’s no tomorrow, other days she’s not bothered!
