Sorry about all the questions, guys. Like I said, I just want to establish what’s normal!

How often do your bunnies groom themselves? It seems like every time I look at her she’s cleaning herself or nipping herself. I just want to make sure she’s okay!

So sorry to be such a pain.

Mine is the same, during the day espeicially. Basically all she does is alternate between sleeping and grooming and from what I know that’s pretty normal. If she doesn’t seem like she’s grooming one place a lot because something is bothering her, like she hurt something, then I think that’s normal.

Yup, bunnies are super dilligent about grooming themselves all the time, kind of like cats. Great thing is, it means you never have to bathe them unless there’s some medical reason. Don’t worry about the questions, ask away .

Lots and lots and lots! It is quite amusing how far they can reach.
I’ve tried grooming my bunny’s head.. she looked at me like “WHAT?”

Hahaha, that’s very good to know! Yeah, she has managed to get up onto the sofa beside me now by herself and starts grooming herself. I’ll play along and tickle her neck. She turned round and started nipping and licking me. Aawwwww!

Aww, that’s so sweet…she likes you! Now that you’ve been groomed, you have officially been inducted into bunny-hood

They do it lots and some bunnies are more “prissy” than others. Haha

A day in the life of a bunny: Wake up, groom, eat breakfast, groom, nap, play, groom, give human stink eye, groom, nap, beg for treats, nom nom nom, groom, lounge, groom, dinner, play, groom, goodnight.

That seems to be very accurate! I was watching her groom herself and I *think* I noticed that she is a she and not a he as I had previously thought! They should be born with little gender-tags or something!

She…or he was born in March? If it is male, normally the testicles will not drop until about three months.(though it can take  4-5 months as well) So just by a quick look, you may not be able to tell quite yet.  If you are questioning though, you can have your vet check the gender (good idea to get a rabbi-savvy vet established now, if you haven’t already,  and get a check up).

Mine is grooming herself currently. She sleeps, she grooms, she eats, she poops. Then she starts it all again. ^_^

Oh I fully intend on it. She’s going to the vet this week or next, money depending. I’ll be gettiing her checked over. I checked and the local vet said they have alot of experience with rabbits (apparently there’s been a massive increase in bunny owners in recent years here) and they’re well known for being good vets, so I’m comfortable with taking her there!
