Hi, today I noticed after my bunny sneezed that the area around her nose was slightly wet (but it was not like there was goo pouring out of her nose). I have always heard that a wet nose on a bun is sign that it could be sick…. but besides her nose being wetter than usually, she is acting completely normal and has no other problems.  Is this something I should be really worried about?

My bunny’s nose has been slightly wet recently. I’ve heard her stick her nose in her water dish.. silly lady.

Is there any discharge in her nose/coming out of her nose?

How many times has she sneezed?

I took my Smudge in to the vet Friday for sneezing and a wet nose. The vet didn’t get all worried about her, as the discharge was clear, her lungs sounded clear, and her breathing was normal. He thinks she may have an allergy, so I am under orders to try different hay for her. But it’s always better to be safe than sorry when it comes to bunnies, so I would suggest a vet check up

Hard to say with just a description. But if her nose is damp after sneezing then it might mean that she is sneezing out the wetness. Could your bunny have taken a drink or something else?
