My dad gets a lot of white clover in his yard every year.  I used to pick them for my mom.  lol  I plan on taking Lolli outside as long as everything is ok weatherwise, stupid neighbor dogs being free wise, etc.   Is white clover ok for her to eat?

The white clover if fine for her to eat- it is more a question of if the yard is ever treated with anything or any neighboring yards are treated and the question of safety outside.

Yeah, I’ll have to talk to my dad about it. I know he gets his house sprayed for bugs. He also sometimes sprays the trees for bugs too. But I know he won’t do that probably until later in the summer. And then the stupid neighbors let their dogs run and they have a goat that follows the dogs. So I’d have to take her pen outside and put her in the pen. Then I’d have to make sure the dogs and the goat doesn’t bother her or scare her to death. The neighbor dogs are going to be the biggest problem. I just wanted to make sure it was ok for her to eat the clover. Cause it’s all over the yard and if she couldn’t, there’s no point in even taking her out. lol

Even if an area hasn’t been sprayed with pesticides or herbicides, rabbits shouldn’t eat any grass, clover, etc. that hasn’t been thoroughly washed first. If dogs have been in the area, there would be a chance of the rabbit picking up tapeworm. And numerous birds or other animals have probably been depositing droppings in the lawn. Even if the pen is totally secure and predator proof, there is still a chance that some animal would scare your rabbit, possibly causing her to harm herself. It can be very risky taking rabbits outside, due to predators and any parasites that they may pick up, including fleas and ticks.

Also wild animals like raccoons can carry a disease (forgot the name) and if they urinate on the grass it can be transmitted to your bunny. So you just have to be careful since it sounds like that area is not really fenced in and free of other animals.
