I got Abby switched over to her new pellets.  I mixed them for the whole weeks increasing the amount of the new pellets and she has had no problems.  YAY!  So she has been on only her new Zupreem pellets for 2 days now.  How long should I wait before I start to give her some  romaine?

I don’t see why you can’t start now.

Thanks Sarita. I just wanted to make sure. I didn’t want to cause any tummy troubles if I needed to wait longer. I bet she’ll be thrilled! =)

I know she has had carrots and fresh fruit at the rescue for treats but i don’t think she’s had much of anything else. On her birthday I gave her a couple of tiny fresh peppermint leaves and she loved those. Before she was surrendered she was getting 3 cups of pellets a day and hay but I don’t think they had greens.
She’s going to be one happy bunny girl! =)

Oh I bet she’s gonna do binkies when she gets her fresh veggies! Maybe if you slowly introduce veggies, she won’t have tummy troubles.

It’s so great when we get bunnies and can introduce them to how they’re really supposed to be living. Eddie would get so excited for lettuce time when I first got him. Lolli gets excited now. lol She was super picky when she was a baby so it took her awhile before she started eating different things.
