        Hello,

I have always used a water bottle for my Totoro.. I started to wonder, does drinking from the water bottle strain bunny necks? How high do you prefer to put the bottle? I put mine about 3 inches from the ground.. I think its 3.. its 3 squares up from the ground on the nic cubes. I tried water bowls, but maybe he was a fish in a past life because he would like to sit in it…… It wasn’t hot or anything. He would just play in it and I would have to refill the bowl every chance I got. When I watch him drink water I always think itd be uncomfortable to drink like that.

That seems very low. Can you raise it higher? My buns are between 4-5 pounds and I position the spout about 8 inches off the ground. I have it over the litterbox to catch any drips, and they have to sit up to drink. Any higher they have to stand up. Any lower, they have to crouch down. I also have a bowl for them. They drink out of both equally.

oh.. hm i suppose it is low.. he isnt going out of his way to get lower or anything.. it is his natural position when he rests on all fours… only he has to tilt his head. I will try raising the bottle to different heights tonight to see if he seems to have any pref..
