1. Pictures from your computer cannot be inserted from the quick reply box.

2. After entering the reply page, click the arrow by "attachments" to open up the attachments dialogue.

3. Click the "Choose..." button to browse the photos on your computer and select the one you want to upload/insert.

4. After the picture has been selected, the file path will appear in the text box.  Click "Upload"

5. After uploading image, click "insert image" at any point in your text where you would like to insert the image.

6. Share your bunny pictures and enjoy your reprieve from pokey sticks

When your pictures are an online server (photobucket, facebook, etc)...

1. Right-click on the picture you want to insert, and select "Copy Image URL", "Copy Image Location", "Copy Image Address", etc. This will vary depending on what browser you use.

2. Click the picture icon above the reply box.

3. Paste the image URL (location, address, etc) into the box and click "OK"

***ALTERNATE METHODS:  ADDING PICTURES FROM THE QUICK REPLY BOX***

1. Copy/paste the picture insertion html code from your photo hosting website.

2. If no code is given, copy the image URL and paste it within the quotation marks: < img src = "URL here" > -- remove all spaces!

I'd been contemplating too. : ) I tried but when I added the images like you have (i.e. of the Quick Reply box) they came out too small add barely legible.
Good work Peppy! : )
LOVE the demo picture of Peppy bun. Lol!

I just did some tests and it looks like we can currently add pictures and video in Quick Reply.   I think this feature may have come with the site updates, pretty sure this could not be done before.  All you need to is paste the HTML code for the picture or video that is provided by the image/video hosting site.

I'd thought I'd test this because I had noticed links I'd added in Quick Reply lately had became hyperlinks once the post was submitted. Before, if you put them in Quick Reply, you then had to edit your post to activate the links.

I like this new capability. I hope it's one of the new features that will stay. Something to ask BB once the Updates are complete.

*Could a FL please delete my blank posts sometime? I tested a few things and have then edited out the content of those posts.

No problem everybun! I figured we have so many questions about this, it'd be a good idea to have a nice pictoral guide. The font is so silly and big because i felt like it was getting lost in the big pictures, and making it bigger/bold would be easier to see!

Hmm didn't know you could input html code from these quick reply boxes, I'll make an edit to the tutorial later.

The quick reply thing might be temporary. Best wait til updates are complete to see it that is another way we can add pics.
