Again, this might be dumb.   I have lotus shaped bowls.  they have a little ridge on the bottom so they stand higher than a regular bowl.  I got one out to see if Lolli would drink out of it and she has been.  She seems to drink out of it more than other bowls.  I still have her water bottle up and she is drinking out of that as well.

Is it possible that maybe she likes her bowls up higher for better reach?  She’s a bit tubby so her dewlap is large.  I think this gets in her way.  How dumb would it be to try one of those bowl stands they have for dogs?  Like this:

Or just tell me she’s fine.  Her pen area would be all tricked out if I had the money and it would just be from me wanting her to be comfortable.

If her dewlap gets in her way.. it may be time for a diet

I know someone on here uses those kinds of bowls, some bunnies do seem to like things higher up.

Yup! I’m working on it. lol She weighs 7 lbs. internet searches say mini rexes should be between 4-5 lbs. ??? Just from looking at her, I get the idea that a healthy weight for her is NOT less than 5 lbs. So I’m aiming for a weight loss of 1 lb and go from there. She’d better off with just a 1/2 lb loss too. I know that she shouldn’t drastically lose weight and that’s not what I’m aiming for or anything. Just gradually reducing her weight by feeding more lettuce/less pellets and limiting the treats.

Her treats are Gerber Graduates mini fruits. They are freeze-dried fruits with no preservatives or anything like that. She gets maybe 4 of those a day depending on how much i give into her begging. Now I just have to ween her off relying on pellets all the time. lol

Sagecat used one for a long time until one of the ceramic bowls broke. This is something you could definitely try!
