EEKK!  The left one is a good bit longer as well.  Which I think is weird since I had him neutered in August and his teeth were floated and checked.  Can bunny teeth grow sideways in two months?

Yes, they sure can. Sometimes these dental problems may not show up right away. Is he the older one, not the 2 babies, is that correct.

Yup, I have him signed up for a vet appt so hopefully we can get it fixed. Poor guy, i’d hate to have to see him in headgear.

Most likely it will. Rabbits teeth continually grow and if the incisors are damaged or just grow weird no matter what you do, you cannot correct them. Hay doesn’t help with the front teeth. It’s possible he had this before since you’ve only had him a short time and he did get his teeth filed at his neuter.

Sometimes a rabbit can outgrow dental malformation depending what caused the malformation.
Cage bar chewing is sometimes a culprit for misaligned incisors. Dried branches of non-toxix wood can help curb bar chewing as well as keep front teeth trim. Hay alone does not suffice to wear down all teeth. Untreated branches of apple tree, and willow are safe, as is untreated pine lumber.
