My pet store got some and I’m thinking about buying some for my crew.  What do your bunnie’s think of them? Have you had any digestive problems because of them?

I bought them and gave them to bunny. He looked at them, sniffed them, chewed on them once and did not touch them again. It has been a few months and since I still have them I will try them again and see whet happens He does love willow branches and willow balls. I imagine every rabbit develops his/her own tastes and you just have to experiment to figure out what they like.

Are they apple branches?  My bunnies love apple brnaches- they chew all the bark off.  I have not noticed an tummy issues from giving them.

On the apple trees I trim the branches off of- I noticed that the lower branches that can be reached when the snow is high- wild bunnies have eaten some of the bark off.  So if they have the opportunity- they will do this in the wild also.  I know it is bunnies because my Mom said she saw the bunny tracks and poo in the snow.

having grown with a backyard of apple trees, I would say that the ones in store are far inferior to the ones of the tree directly, however I did in fact by the petstore apple branches as well, my 3 buns didn’t really care about them.

LPT, generally they tend to like them, but it’s so individual with bunnies that it’s another trial and error pet store product. A natural tree branch is cheaper, but you need a tree that hasn’t been sprayed. So I’d say give it a try but don’t be disappointed if they don’t snarf them down. If they do, treat time!!!
