I’ve been giving Chacha baytril since last Saturday. She doesn’t like the new taste at all. I’ve been giving it to her, and I think I got some near her mouth. So, I think that it got into her fur and is sticky – like when we get syrup on our hair.

Is it okay to trim it off her fur? Or just let her clean herself?

warm water and a damp washcloth should work it out Don’t trim her fur, she’d have a bald spot til her next shed

            Okay, got it! Thanks monkey

I’ll do it tomorrow morning. She’s still a bit mad at me for giving her medicine not so long ago

When I had to give Lolli baytil and a pain reliever, I just let her clean herself. Cause by that time, she was soo ticked off she wasn’t having anything to do with me and thumping at me. LOL It took a bit and I don’t know if she got herself cleaned or if it was eddie grooming her or what, but eventually her face got all clean. lol

I got some on the edge of Oxo’s mouth a couple of days ago, and wiped it on his paws. He’s just cleaned it off whilst having a big huff – he’s spotless now. It can’t do any harm to wipe it off with a damp cloth though.

like when we get syrup on our hair

Does this happen often to you?

Ahem… I have never had syrup on pancakes.  Being English, anything other than lemon juice and sugar is just not acceptable.
