Lollipop has really dry ears.  I took a kleenex and used my finger to try and clean them out but it’s pretty dry deep in her ears. I don’t feel comfortable using a q-tip on them. I was going to use a q-tip just as far down as my finger tip will go but now that’s out.  so  I think I’m going to have spend the $18 and have her ears cleaned at the vets.  I am going to get the cold air humidifier out and start running it to see if it helps.  Is there any ointment I could possibly use on her to help keep her ears hydrated?

Man the things we do for our buns to keep them healthy and comfortable.  And do we get any appreciation?  No.  Just disdain and disapproval cause we aren’t doing enough.  lol

Dry ears on the outside? or the inside?

Inside. It’s right above where her ear canal starts. I’ve had them cleaned before so the vet tech’s have seen it and apparently don’t think it’s anything more than dry skin. I just didn’t want to spend the $18 to get them cleaned. lol But I’m going to have to which is fine. Just seems expensive for them to just use a q-tip to clean them out. lol And I also don’t want her to be uncomfortable, so I was just wondering if there’s any ointment or something I could use to keep her ears hydrated.
