I FINALLY GOT MY BUNS SOME BASIC T PELLETS!  i bought them with my own money! They seem to like it OK. and now i feel like the pellets are better for them then before!

I was wondering something about there feeding times. i have herd that pellets should be fed only at night and not in the morning. so if i switched them to pellets only at night does that mean i only give them veggies in the morning and not at night?

It doesn’t really matter. My bun gets her pellets for breakfast, hay 24 hours a day, and veggies at night

I agree that it doesn’t matter. I give my buns 1/4c pellets in the morning, and about half that at night (to split between the two of them). They get veggies at both meals. Just do whatever works for you.

The important thing is to only give a quarter cup once a day (a 24 hr. period), but a bunny will only finish them as they want to throughout the day or night, so just pick a time and be consistent.

I give greens twice a day, am and pm, and unlimited hay. Sometimes she just doesn’t feel like eating her greens for most of the day, but that’s partly due to an AM feeding of her pellets.

Unless she’s been sending out for pizza while I’m at work….

It does not matter at what time to feed pellets, just be consistent. I would not feed pellets and veggies together at the same meal because one is a raw natural food (vegetables) and the other is a processed concentrate (pellets) and has a different digestiblity. You want things to move through without any chance of gas build-up so I alternate pellet and veggie meals.
