Today, I went to a nearby Asian mart with my dad and I was totally giddy to find DANDELIONS for sale

I gave a piece to Chacha when she was in her kennel and she ate it right up. I gave her 3 dandelions just now and she is avoiding ’em

If she does decide that she wants to eat ’em, how often is it okay to give her Dandelions? Everyday like normal greens?

yup! they are 100% safe to give as much as you like so long as they are washed ( but you already know that :p)

She may end up only liking them as an occasional treat. But bunnies sometimes take a while to develop a taste for new greens, so if she ends up rejecting them now, you can always give her some more in a couple of months.

Oh wow! Ritz is a dandelion addict!  Wish there was a place to buy them near us. I’m glad to hear its fine to eat. She loves clover too and I know that can cause soft stools. Maybe ChaCha will come around for them.

Ugh-we are selling our house next spring (hopefully) so we had to get the lawn under control this year which meant spraying the weeds….so my buns only got the dandelions early before we sprayed…My bunnies LOVE dandelions and it was great, I could go out and come in with an armful of fresh dandelions!
I never thought to try an asian market though! I’ve certainly never seen them anywhere else-but I’ll see if our local asian market has any! GREAT idea!!

Mine finally ate it.  They love it.  I am thinking of pullin some up and planting them with my four o clocks.  Which by the way should be named 7 o clocks cuz their flowers don’t open til 7.  At the other place I lived they opened at 6. lol

                  They may try it eventually.
