        Hi All,

I just thought I’d post here as we’re close to our maximum capacity with rescue bunnies. It’d be great to have more adoptions so we can keep rescueing the many pound bunnies. This morning we had a new litter of baby bunnies born, which is exciting, but also means there is more rehoming to do in 8 weeks time…

Please see all the very needy animals at http://www.PorschesRescue.com

A special mention also for Lucifer. Please spread the news about him, he is a very special case and needs a unique kind of home

Lucifer needs your help!!!! Poor Lucifer is a born and bred wild rabbit. He was somehow trapped and taken to the pound, there he escaped euthanasia by some miracle. We did not find out his personality until he arrived, and in all honesty would probably not have saved him either had we known just how scared of humans he is. Lucifer is not a pet bunny. He does not bite, however scratches and is terrified of humans. Lucifer really needs to find a home that is willing to accept him for what he is. A secure and large enclosure is a must, for his own protection. If someone wanted a challenge, Lucifer could be rehabilitated with a lot of time and patience. But he will never be suitable for young children. We need everyone’s help to save Lucifer. Because of an undescended testicle, he will need to be desexed to prevent the high risk of cancer. Any donations to help cover this cost, or ongoing help with his upkeep would be greatly appreciated. Even better would be someone willing to give Lucifer a home. We have so far been a no-kill shelter. We really don’t wish to change this, however have to face reality. That is why we are asking for your help. Monetary donations will ensure Lucifer has a chance at life, but a home will ensure he has a future. For information about donating, please visit our website or send us an e-mail. If you would like to adopt Lucifer, please visit out website and fill in an adoption enquiry form: http://www.PorschesRescue.com

***Thank you to Bec, Richard & Lai and Katy for your generous donation towards Lucifer’s vet costs!***

I hope you find someone to take Lucifer. I know there has to be someone out there who wants to give him a chance. Just because he’s feral doesn’t mean he won’t be a good pet.

Just thought I’d bump this thread. Lucifer is still in need of a home incase there is anyone out there for him. He has done well in rescue in that he now races over to take treats and especially loves dandelion leaves. He’s happy to take food from your hand, although would still rather not be touched. Please help spread the word to all bunny lovers incase someone can help…
