Ok well Pacey is having lots of changes happen really fast and I need some suggestions to make it easier on him because right now he is in the corner of his room just thumping away.

First Marshmallow was taken by my mom. She is doing great BTW

Then it was supposed to happen next week but decided just to get it over with and moved into my house today. So far I have his room all setup and most of my stuff (I don’t have much lol).

But I don’t know how to make it easier on him. I thought about going back over to my mom’s house and getting stuff that smell like there (blankets and such) to see if that eases some of the stress.

Or do I just leave him be and let him adjust on his own?

He made a perimeter of poops lol all along each wall.

A blanket that smells familiar might help him some. It may just take him a little while to relax and know that nothing bad is going to happen to him in this weird new room that smells funny. I had to giggle at the thought of the poops along each wall!

I would go for as many things as possible that he is familiar with. And try to keep to your usual routines with him; time of feeding, your interaction et.c

maybe you could drape some blankets that smell like your old house over her cage. unless she isn’t in a cage.

He has his own room like at my mom’s house. All of his things were just moved to that room (the house is the exact same layout the only differences are the kitchen and living room are switched and a few different floorings) so everything is in the exact same spot it was there.

I went and got his favorite chair from my mom’s house and some other things he like to lay on around the house and it seems to have helped. Lol and yes he was quite adamant about the leaving his poo on the floor of each wall.

He’ll be okay. It’s just a new space so it’s different. This is all to be expected. Good idea to have some familiar things from home.
