Ever since Lily has been neutered she has been peeing & pooing in the kids beds! She has stopped peeing & pooing in ours because she has a litter box in our room now! My bf doesn't want to put box's in the kids bedroom. So every couple of days, or when he pees, I have to do the laundry! Today, he shut the doors to keeps Lily out of the dining, kitchen & kids bedrooms side of the house. Lily is still in the air conditioned area of the house, living room & our bedroom, but tonight we will have to open those doors cause the kids need the air too. there are no doors to the kids bedrooms, so I have been bugging him to build gates to block off the kids bedrooms!! I even said to use the wire grids for now, but no! I thought of using wood latuce's (sp?) as gates. He wants to buy doors, great but we don't have central air, just a window a/c. so at night we will have to keep the doors open for the kids! I said why not cut the doors in half & have the top section of the door open, I saw them like that before?!
Anyways tonight, nothing's going to be different, and of couse he's going to blame Lily & not himself for the messes! GRRRR!
Sorry, just had to vent! Thanks for listening! Advice would be nice!
Hardware stores - the large ones sell cheap standard baby gates in the US. I saw them at Orchard Supply for 30$. You could check that out too. Or hit up some yardsales over the weekend. Or you can make one out of grids. I find the actually baby gates to be better since I have dogs and cats that I am keeping out as well. I know all too well about pee'd in beds. I've just survived 2 rabbits doing it to my bed over the past months. I should get a T-shirt made for that! "I Survived The Monster Bunny Bed Wetter"
lol I can see this... Hey if you dont' do nothing different you will get the same results.
My ex was that way. So stupid. He insisted the dude we rented the house from spray the house for roaches. For a month he complaned. I told him get some bug spray duh.
Oh no the owner is supposed to do it. Hmpf. No matter he isnt' going to do it and it just keeps getting worse. You gona wait til they take over to do something? STUPID
I went out and bought spray when he gave me some $.
If you have thick sheets of cardboard around you might be able to use that. Around home I have large pieces of fluteboard (coroplast) that I wedge into the door frames. It has a bend down the middle that allows me to pop it into place. Then I bend one side back to get thru. It's a bit of a pain though. I've seen expanding lattice made from bamboo or willow in discount stores before. I think that could make a good gate sometimes. Provided the bunny side is covered in something so bunny can't stick head thru and become stuck! Be forewarned though, whatever barrier you use, Lily might take to peeing in front of the barrier in protest... What about putting some risers under the bed legs so it's too high for him to jump onto? Then you wouldn't have to worry about gates/doors etc
