        …a few weeks back.

I had gone to my local egg lady and she showed me her rabbits, including a peanut who had attained a miraculous 4 weeks of age under her care. I got to hold it and it was such a sweet little thing.

Sadly, I have to report he/she has passed away. I was talking to the egg lady today and asked about the little bun. She was obviously distressed so I didn’t push for too much information. I think he had to have gone to the Bridge not much longer after I saw him. But that he survived to the age he did was quite a feat, and a testament to how well she cares for all her bunnies, despite how very many she has.

I sent some treats with my hub today when I had him pick up some eggs for us this evening, for her to divvy out to her other bunnies. I feel so bad for her. This little bun was evidently quite the special one in her heart.

Please think of this little one happily binkying across the Rainbow Bridge and whole and healthy on the other side, as he watches over the mamma who took such great care of him.

Binky free little peanut! Thank you for allowing me the few moments of your existence and the joy of holding one so small and delicate in the palm of my hand.

Binky free little Peanut! That little bun was amazingly adorable, he’s sure to be looked after across the Bridge. Poor baby, and poor egg lady too. *hugs and snuggles for all*
