awwww…. noooo our cat just came running in from the woods with a baby bunny in his mouth! then it got out and hopped in our basement window (not inside) and my sister grabbed the cats and put them inside. i wanted though do something to help the poor thing but i didn’t know what! i thought about catching it to see if it was ok but it was gone by the time i got back from getting gloves. i don’t know if catching it to make sure if it was ok would have been the right thing to do any ways. when it hopped out of the window thing it ran into the house like it was blind. i feel so bad for the poor thing. what are you supposed to do in these situations?

There isn’t much you can do. It is part of nature unfortunately. If you had gotten the baby and it was still alive, you could take it to a vet to see if there is anything they can do for it. They will also know any wildlife rehabilitation centers in the area.
