        Frontier Airlines Welcomes Pets Aboard

Announces New Pet Fare for In-Cabin Travel

DENVER, May 12, 2010 – Frontier Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: RJET), today announced that customers can now travel with their small, furry friends in the cabin of the aircraft for a $75 each-way pet fare. The new in-cabin pet policy applies to small dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters or small household birds. All pets must fit into a carrier that fits under the airplane seat and they must have proper health documentation in order to fly.

“We have spent a lot of time listening to our customers and determining what would make their travel experience even better,” said Ian Arthur, vice president of marketing and branding. “We received a lot of feedback on our pet policy and determined that pets would be a welcome addition to the Frontier travel experience.”

In addition to allowing small pets in the cabin, Frontier also accommodates larger pets as checked baggage. Pets weighing more than 20 pounds, who do not fit the pets-in-cabin requirements, may be checked for a $150 fee.

For more information on traveling with a pet as carry-on or checked baggage, please visit FrontierAirlines.com.

It’s great another airline has started this. Hopefully this info can be added to the FAQ’s regarding air travel.

                That’s great!

Although it’s proof on how the economy is – gotta get more people flying! I don’t mind tho, I think it’s silly how strict they are on bringing pets on board….let along bringing on musical instruments. You know people have to actually buy seats for cellos and string basses. My horn was smashed from being in cargo. I won’t even go into the amount of rage and the scene I created at the airport. My horn made it to Spain fine, and then from LA to SF they crinkled my bell. I’m surprised I wasn’t taken away. Seriously I was Volcano Lintini exploding all over the place.

Oh my goodness that is awful.. are you referring to a French Horn?  Either way though, any nice brass instrument is expensive, and if it’s a specific or older model, irreplaceable.. I can’t even imagine if my Bass Trombone or my Bassoon got damaged on a plane ride.. I’d be breathing fire!

Yes, French Horn. I was breathing fire and had a tornado going at the same time believe me.
