So  last night, as I was heading to bed, inspiration struck!

Why don’t I sleep on the floor with the bunny, Victoria?!

So I threw some blankies on the floor, so which she cocked her head at, and then I hunkered down for the night.  I was so tired I didn’t even bother trying to play with her.  To sleep I went, but then…

… is that… a bunny paw on my arm?  XD  She’s so freaking cute!  Of course, she refuses to let me touch her, but she’ll climb all over me, haha.

At one point, I nearly smacked her.  I felt this tingly feeling with my face, and I thought for sure it was a bug, but I opened my eyes and it was her fuzzy forehead right up against my face!  She’s a Lionhead, so the fur is everywhere.  Then at another point, she was practicing hopping over my feet, and then muzzling my hair.

She even laid down beside me.

She runs to greet me in the afternoons, I think it’s because that’s when I feed her veggies.  She lies down in the open, beside my bed, and she doesn’t hop away if I stand up or walk around.  I think she kind of likes me,  Which is new, because she used to be so antisocial, but maybe I wasn’t doing it right?  I think she knows her name now, since she comes when I call her.

But still the refusal to be touched- even just once on the forhead, ears, or back gets her to run away.  Though she seems to have a delayed flight responce when I stroke her forehead, but she’ll leave a second later.

Have you guys ever slept with your buns?  Victoria is funner when she’s climbing on me and waking me up, haha.

Often. I did last night in fact. I sometimes leave them in the living room and now and then I drag a mattress in and sleep on the floor. The early hours are always interesting…when they first “wake up” for the day. Jersey tried my patience a bit this morn. She kept jumping on the sofa next to me and I was afraid she’d pee. But then she settled on my makeshift bed for some pets which was nice.

It’s great to hear your relation with Victoria is developing. It’s a good feeling.

I usually only sleep ont eh floor with my buns when they are sick, or when they are first introduced to each other. When moose was in stasis, I made a little nest in his pen, and he came and slept with me. He curled up beside me when I was on my side, and slept on my back when I was on my tummy

In my old place, Pepper wasn’t allowed in my bedroom because it was also the sewing studio.  When I was traveling a lot she was getting really cranky (digging her litterbox, etc), and I decided she was missing me so I slept on the couch a couple of times a week while this was going on and she settled down.

Once I moved and she had access to where I slept she got a LOT more comfy with me.
