Well we had Pixie for a whole day now and I am over the moon!! I am so in love with this little bunny already!  She is one happy girl! After a while we let her explore the room her cage is in. Still hopping around the room now as I write. She has been hopping all over. I even let one of my dogs who is low key in with her. Pixie went up to her and they touched noses. They followed each other around the room it was so cute to see. She would go in her cage to eat and drink then back out to explore the room. I held her on and off today and she would snuggle right up in me. We are still working on the litterbox training. She is a joy and I love her so much!!!

Don’t worry about the litterbox just right now. She’s a baby – give her a few weeks and then start. You may get lucky and she’ll just catch on for now, but don’t stress if she doesn’t. Just enjoy the baby time.

I already feel bad putting her in her cage for the night! LOL. She has been out of cage roaming room for 4 hours now and hopping around. I just hope she loves the wonderful cage we built her!

Don’t feel bad. It’s one of the best things you can do for her. Giving her a space that is safe, secure and hers. Can you imagine being a young prey animal at night and having so much space around you to keep watch on?  The smaller confines will feel much more natural to her. Good to hear she is such a delight.
