So I thought we should have a thread of all of our bonded or almost bonded cuddlebuns! I know I love seeing my two snuggle up
Here’s some pictures from today. Weird thing…when they aren’t snuggling, they’re the same…as in the first two pics. There is two of these chairs that they are under in the pics and sometimes they each lay under one the same way but mostly they cuddle under one. Comet is usually my flopper but I think he knew I had the camera out…haha. Anyways, these are my snuggle cutie pies!

Hehe, oh goodness Jersey, so cute!
They look so sleepy and content in every picture! And yes, Chubs is a bit smaller than Comet, especially since Comet has put on a little weight because of all the mushed banana he is getting so he’ll take his antibiotics…only thing I can find that will make him take them without me having to scoop him up and force him which he hates me for and it stresses him, so banana it is and it’s it’s just two small bits a day but not exactly a diet…hehe. But he has always been bigger than Chubs and even with a little different face shape. I don’t know if that’s common in the same breed or not but anyways, cute cuddlers! -
Jersey’s right, my husband was obsessed with the thought of getting an orange/fawn colored holland lop to be Otto’s buddy and then we would’ve had a matching pair. I told him we’d look for another lop, but that was as close as he would get
We ended up with a grey and white (technically a broken sable chinchilla) mini lop.This is the only picture I have that is sized small enough to upload. I’ll work on resizing some more tomorrow!
eta: Oh, and about Comet being larger, that’s funny since Otto is also a fairly large holland lop (he’s 0.3lbs over the breed standard of 4lbs). Some hollands don’t get the dwarfing gene, and I assume that’s why Otto is bigger. So funny that his bunny twin is also a bigger guy.

Comet is so chubby right now at 4.9 lbs and I think Chubs is right at 4 lbs. We always thought it was funny because we got Chubs first and named him Chubs…and then we got a chubbier bun! Part of that is the weight gain from all the banana with meds but he was like 4.5 when we got him. Their coats also have a different texture which I think is kinda weird. Chubs is soft but has finer fur while Comet feels like thick velvet. It’s amazing they are the same breed and can be so different!
