So I have started to notice that whenever I leave for work and say goodbye to Hatter he will follow me (to the edge of the carpeted living room) and then THUMP right as I start to close the door. Usually I ignore this but the past two days I actually submitted, and went back to him gave him a nose scratch and told him I loved him. After that he binkies and then goes into his cottage for a nap.

Im wondering if anyone else has ever experienced anything like this with their rabbit? I don’t mind it and actually think it is “sweet” that he will miss me when I am at work….at least I assume that’s the case.

The words “rabbit” and “brat” are interchangeable! Hahaha. There are a lot of brats and diva-buns on here!

Your situation is pretty adorable, though :]

                  all too cute!

I have “Ani-tude” … my “female dog name” bunny … hehehe. She is a Diva bag bunny, always giving aditude (lunging, feet flicks, grunting), but gives in to a snuggle as long as it’s 1 on 1.
My Rex bunny I swear is more like a dog, as soon as i enter the room, he runs to me, then begs on his two back feet, hoping around me, it’s hard to get around him. What’s cute is he is teaching a young very sketchy bunny i have that if he does this most likely he will get a treat, and now this little bunny is starting to come out of his shell and trust me more.

Lol. Bunnies have such great personalities! I’ve trained both of mine to come when I whistle, so they’ve taken to following me around the apartment. And when they hear the fridge or pantry door open or a bottle of vitamins rattle (sounds like their pellets in the plastic container) they come running over to see if they get anything to eat too! Mine stay in their pen when I’m gone, so when I come home, they’re always at the end closest to the door, standing on their hind legs, and shoving each other out of the way to say hi to me! It always makes me giggle!

I have had my bunnies schedules all messed up for the past few weeks. I want to make sure everyone gets time out to play so lately I have been leaving Hoopie out at night while we sleep to roam the dining room, kitchen and living room. Carrera is free downstairs doing the same and only Cooper and Pookie are locked up.

Hoopie hasnt been trying to folllow us upstairs to the bedroom like he used to do because I think he enjoys to sleep and run and play while we sleep. But what is so cute is in the morning my husband gets up for work and waiting at the bottom of the stairs is Hoopie- wiggling his head and entire body so excited to say hi to him! I had a dog that always did that. He is just too sweet.

I get up sometimes at nite to go to the bathroom (drink too much before bed lol). Well the other night I heard Hoopie running crazy 500’s downstairs. I panicked thinking maybe Carrera had busted down my divider and was chasing him. Nope- Hoopie was taking advantage of the space and the time to run and get some exercise. I went downstairs to check so he stopped long enough for a head rub and then went right back to his bunny 500 lap!

Moonlight_Wolf – Frankie will do the charge when you stop petting him sometimes too. I’ve found a way that keeps him from doing it to me (I can tell when he wants to and I keep a hand on him and talk while I get up), but he does it EVERYTIME my mom pets him. Maybe she gives better head rubs!
