I have been studying for my exam tomorrow on my bedroom floor…of course all the papers and books are too much to ask for a bunny to ignore. I turn my back for one second, Indy takes my study guide and RUNS OFF WITH IT! He ran into his cage with it!!! I chased after him trying to get it back – a good chunk missing. I can’t imagine ever trying to tell a professor of mine …”sorry…my rabbit, Indiana Jones ate my homework…” He’s really paper insane. Its….PAPERMANIA!!! Lol. He’s under my bed now pouting with Bee. I thought I saw something on Bee’s nose area earlier …I thought it might be a flea…its warmer now…even though the dogs are on advantage I did had to deal with Bun getting fleas last summer. So I try to get whatever this black speck is off Bee….wow did she mess me up. I have 7 claw marks on my arm, all drawing blood, and my thigh has a deep gash in it now that didn’t stop bleeding for 30min! I just did her claws…I have no idea how she messed me up so bad when I just wanted to look at what I thought could be a flea? This proves the fact that I didn’t spend enough time with her like I did with Indy. She has never even groomed me before or kissed me. I feel terrible. I can stick my hand or face up to Indy and get a kiss and groom session right away. At least Bee doesnt bite though. I mean I will take getting clawed anyday over getting bitten. She’s so sweet but really doesn’t care to be handled anymore. It makes me sad. I wish all my buns have the Indy bun attitude. *big sigh* i really need to stop browsing the BB forums and study more…

Good luck with your exams! Don’t let the bunnies take your away from the books – not even if they run off with them. So funny, Indy did that. How old is Bee now? It is never too late to turn her into a more friendly bunny, I think.

Molly loves getting into my bag and pull out paper, she can chew. I let her although it is such a bad habit and not sure if it is that good for her. I always go check to see if it is anything of real importance and if not, then fine by me.

As Karl grew older, he became interested in pets and being handled. Until then he was more like a “look but not touch” bunny. So there is definitely hope Some bunnies are just a bit sceptic about this rabbit-human friendship and need to be convinced that it is as good as we tell them.

And ehrm, weren’t you supposed to be studying??

                I know, it’s almost 2am though. I think I’m done for now.

Bee loves her face being pet, but she doesn’t want to be picked up. I’m actually allergic and get hives so I don’t know why I try to pick them up anyways and snuggle because I end up itchy after but it’s still worth it. Just shows how obsessed with bunnies I am. I’ll just keep trying to work with her and get her used to it – tonight was just a blow out. I haven’t ever been this scratched up and bleeding before. Oh well…she’s probably just been plotting with BUn on how to be naughty!

Awww, I don’t think it’s necessarily that you didn’t spend enough time with Bee, just that she has a different personality from Indy! You can’t get that lucky with all of your buns 😛 She sounds like a normal bun to me.

And Indy stealing your study guide is hilarious. Hannah will also grab a piece of paper and start running around with it. She’ll even kind of shake it and it reminds me of a dog shaking a toy. Lol. Bunnies are awesome.

Aww, Bee sounds like my bun, ChaCha.
She LOVES to be pet, but hates to be picked up! I will hold her to my chest and she makes a fuss, so I put her down after she has calmed down in my arms.

I only got a kiss from ChaCha once! On the lips.. but that is all!
You are so lucy Indy will let you pick him up and cuddle!

I wish my two were snuggle buns! Calypso is an absolute sucker for pets and rubs, but flips out if you try to detain him in any way. Echo has just started to enjoy being pet in the past few months, but she’s come leaps and bounds since I brought her home in August.

My Chinese bunny, Xiao Pang was such a little snuggle bug. When she was a baby, she would take naps inside my hoodies. She loved being picked up and cuddled like a teddy bear. She would lie on my chest with the blankets pulled tight down over her ears and tooth-purr for hours! And most mornings, I woke up with her snuggled behind my knees under the covers. I’ve never seen another bunny who loved to snuggle as much as she did, but I keep hoping that Calypso and Echo will get more like her as they get older. Fingers crossed!

Bee isn’t spayed yet, is she?
That might explain the change, you said she used to like being handled…but now the hormones are kicking in?
Should settle back down after the spay if so…not sure if you’ll have to rebond her with Indy then.

She never really like to be handled. I guess it’s just because she is bigger now I can’t control her as well. It was different when she fit into the palm of my hand.

*giggle* So true. Mimzy was completely un-handle-able as a baby, but he was SO “asking-to-be-snuggled” all the time! ^_^
He is better now, but I think that’s just cuz he’s getting to be an old man (at 3 years). He and I had a lovely cuddle session last night and he puddled right in front of Fiver’s door too ^_^ (as in bunny puddle, not bunny MADE a puddle)!

I remember those pix of her in the palm or your hand…I didn’t think they made bunnies that tiny! ^_^
