In Japan, there is a cafe devoted to bunnies… With bunnies in it and people can pay to interact with them (thankfully, helping people not doing impulse bunnies.. phew…), and even owners can bring their buns to the place.

There is also a yummy rice and curry, with the rice being a bunny head

Here is the link, it is in English

That was cute! But you should’ve heard my daughter complaining about the little kids pushing the bunnies around. And they guy doing the card tricks was scary… 0_o
Wasn’t the dutch chewing on the tote bag adorable? It’s transportation AND a snack! ^_^

So that brown stuff was curry? I was thinking it was azuki paste.
I thought curry was yellow? (might be thinking of saffron) I love it, but it doesn’t like me…I get terrible stomachache after eating it.
It does seem like there was a lot of it though, and those glasses of tea or pop looked WAY too small to counter the burn! xD

I have a small book of ‘manga recipes’ that I’m dying to try…but finding ingredients for the recipes is difficult. I think I’ll just start with rice balls for my first attempt.

I just love seeing how food for bento boxes are made…the way they make even hard boiled eggs or hot dogs into little animal shapes…I was a picky eater as a kid, if my dad had known how to make my lunch like this Japanese, I would’ve eaten every bite! ^_^
I prefer small portioned meals too…something large just makes me feel stuffed. :X I eat like a squirrel! Lots of little nibbles all day.

I’ve seen some things like that on Ebay. Little molds for rice balls in the shape of Sanrio Sugarbunnies and such. Very tempting. Importing is expensive though.
But yeah, you have to have time to do this stuff. And that’s one reason I don’t make deviled eggs too often, after the two or more hours of work, boiling, cooling, peeling, slicing, scooping, mixing and refilling…with the hub and son hovering the whole time, I might add… then before I can even get one to touch the plate they are GONE. >.< That really steams my broccoli. JEEZ people, at least let them COOL OFF FIRST! *grumble*
