Where can I find cheep washable rugs to use as flooring under the pen?  Something like this: http://www.rabbitron.com/care.html  or even more rigid.

I’ve been using blankets/towels/fleeces, but Arduina likes to dig in that, so I’d like something more sturdy but something that can go in the washing machine.

What about a painter’s drop cloth or a tarp? The one in the picture looks similar to a drop cloth I have for painting walls. Or you can find “soft”, fabric textured tarps. They do make that crinkly noise, but it’s not as bad, and it’s not slippery like a regular tarp. As a bonus, the tarp is water/pee proof so you don’t ruin your floor/carpet! They’re large and fairly inexpensive. Idk if you can put a tarp in the washer, but you can definitely take it outside and hose it off, and then hang it to dry. Check your local hardware store.

Or you can try some fabric/fleeces from the clearance section of a sewing store, so even if they’re not sturdy, they’re cheap.

How about bathmats? I used to use those for my rat cages. Though I’m not sure how big they’ll go, but with the rubber backing it’s harder to dig them up and fold them over

What about indian cotton rugs. There 100% cotton and simply to wash.  You can probably get them at dollar stores or markets. Sometimes they’re sold as bathmats.  If you can’t find big ones, you can grab a bunch of small ones and sew them together.

lwayne- in the pic those look like waterproof pads we use in the hospital on patients beds. We have some in the nsg school lab I work in. They soak things up really well and dont leave the surface wet unless they are over-filled.

You may be able to find something like whats in the website at a durable medical equipment shop- look online for a store that sells medical products like wheelchairs, walkers, etc and they may carry those pads. You can get them in a small size or large size like you see in the pic.

Ive never thought of using something like that before!

I have gotten a bunch of “Rag Rugs” at Target. They are 100% cotton. The ones that are about 2×3 feet cost around $3-$5. I use several in my buns “pen” and wash them as needed.
I found one that was 4×6 for $12. But, I have not seen another one that big, that cheap.
