Apparently, an LA college campus is experiencing a bunny dumping problem–over 300 bunnies and counting. I was happy to read that volunteers are stepping up to help.

I am happy that the school and volunteers are helping out to help poor bunnies that irresponsible people are getting!! It angers me!! The people that are helping the buns give a lot of hope that the buns will get a good home.

I hope this gets the nation’s attention that bunnies are not cute Easter gifts for children!!

          Thank you for sharing!

What I wish they would do is implant every rabbit with a tracking tag. That way, when someone lets one go, they can go back and find the person that did it. But I know, that would affect the bottom line of the pet stores.

its just common sense that if you know how hard a bunny is to look after, dont advritise them as pets for kids… ESPECIALLLY AT EASTER!!!

Is that where Lightchick picked up her bun Little from? It’s ringing bells…

It’s good some people are taking care of them. I’m a bit skeptical though.  People will just find somewhere else to dump them to avoid the fine. Is there also a public fine for dumping pets in the area – anyone know?
