Oh my gosh my dog just did the cutest thing ever!!!

My little Poodle cairn mix just did the cutest thing ever!

Well I like to mimic animals and one of the ones I like to mimic is the wolf, I went online to listen to see how accurate my howling was, I listened to the howling and then started mimicing the howling.

Well once I started howling my dog started howling with me. At first I thought that it was the tape he was howling to, but I stopped the tape and he still responded to my howling! It was so adorable! I can’t get over how cute it was, he lifted his head and did all the motions of howling too!

I got it on tape too! I will have to put it on youtube sometime.

lolz…My Shadow is one third wolf, according to his breed. He used to do quite a bit of howling before he lost his voice a few years ago, (due to a nerve disorder that is also slowly taking away his legs.)
So of course, his pups howled too. Even with 5 acres around us, it makes me nervous to have my dog make that much noise (well that’s what it is to my neighbors, not to me) and have to worry if animal control will be showing up shortly. :/ Didn’t take much at all to get the five of them to tune up. ^_^

I used to sneak up on Shadow because he wouldn’t howl in front of me. He’d hear the other dogs howling and would join in…then I’d send a soft hoot his way and he’d swing his head this way and that to see where that really close dog was at. ^_^ He had such a beautiful voice!;_;
