It’s been a little while so I’m checking in.

Our little gizmo is in fact a she! But she’s grown a lot and is a very healthy bunny.  She’s perfectly litter trained, she’ll even go back to her little box if she’s running about the house although she’s a very avid digger so sometimes the litter ends up outside the box!  She and the puppy get along fairly well now but gizmo will tell the puppy off when she’s reached her limit. She actually Grunted! it was pretty cute and the dog ran away with her tail down. So bunny is still the boss!  She’s getting Spayed on Friday and i’m actually going to be off work for 4 days to over obsess about her recovery!

We also upgraded her area to a pen, she has lots of room to run and play and she even has her own little bed, her favorite part of this new habitiat is that We can also fit in there so I can sit in there and roll her ball with her (she likes to headbutt it) and she  will show you all around her bunny mansion.

Hope everyone here is well too! but the most important part is PICTURES!

This is her new area, plus her daily free run time

        Everyone loves a sleepy bunny

She had her own present at christmas, and opened it herself.

Awww, she’s gorgeous! I love loppies, especially in that color!

I’m so glad she’s settling in with your family and being such a good girl.

You are forgiven for your absence only because you brought bunny pictures……..j/k
Lol @ Gizmo being a girl. This happens so frequently. It kinda does explain the diva attitude about the ‘blue litter only’ preference!

AWWweee! I wondered where you were, I always thought how cute she was in your avatar! SOOOO tiny!! I am so jealous that your fuzzy pink stripe bed is still intact! That bed lasted about 10min with Bun and she tore out all the fuzz. What a waste of 20$! Bratty Bun! I love her markings too, she’s so beautiful!

she’s using pink litter currently. if it’s pink, blue or purple it’s ok but any other color gets tossed on the floor haha.

buns are so precious when they’re sacked out asleep like that.

                                good luck with the spay!

Good luck with the spay.  My Cotton is quite the Diva also- so they share looks and personality!  I think only super confident buns will sleep like that- I have never seen Schroeder actually sleeping.  But I see Cotton sleep and occasionally Griffin sleep- but Griffin does not have the same care free, I rule the world and I may sleep however I like attitude that Cotton does.

Haha Katnip – I like your tissue box hay dispenser! I did use a tissue box at one time but Fern just chewed it to bits (she loves chewing cardboard – at least she does not love chewing wood, because I do not have any ‘valuble’ cardboard things, but I do have some wood things that I do not want to be chewed)

Also I love the way your (DeVaStAt0r) and Katnip’s lops lie! Thats exactly the way Fern loves to lye! It is so darn cute!

We just got home from her spay, she’s all out of sorts but she’s inside her little cardboard house napping so hopefully she feels a little better.

She wouldn’t eat anything at the vet so they fed her some liquid diet for bunnies, hopefully that will do for now, she has food in her pen and water but no interest in either.

                                      Poor little baby

Prob will take 24 hrs for her interest in food to surface. (((healing vibes)))

the first couple days are the hardest. she should drastically improve once she starts eating normally.

She’s doing better, although she’s a total Diva.

She ignores her food bowl, but if i was to say..lift each pellet to her mouth she will eat.

I think perhaps she was a little lonely, she likes watching us in the room, but she also loves getting the puppy in trouble..And with her new pen being ground level the puppy tends to stick her nose in, or a paw and then gizmo will run away, the dog gets in trouble and it’s great fun for miss diva.

To prevent this during her recovery i’ve put some blankets around the walls of the pen, so the puppy doesn’t get her too excited. She’s relaxing more without nobody to torture so it’s good that way, since i took some time off work for her spay i’m checking on her every half hour to an hour and talking to her and trying to get her to eat a couple pellets or some veggies.

She’s pretty perky considering but i know she wants to be able to spy on us, so i’ve taken to sitting in there with her, we watched a movie together haha! that seemed to help, just stroking her ears and checking her out.

I feel bad having her closed off from us but I just want her to heal properly.
