So hubby came home friday nite.  Saturday I called around for alfalfa hay for Cotton.  He hates timmy so much he will literally eat his litter out of his litterbox instead.

Only 2 places had timmy.  One 12.00 for 35 lbs.  Perfect.  So off we go.  We get there they are closed at 1 pm.  They should have told me when I called.

anyhoo I had the # for the other one on that same road.  And both places are a bit far from here.  They had 50-60 lb alfalfa for 18.00

Having to give hubby $ for gas I didn’t have enuf. Explaining my delima with Cotton the owner   broke it down for me and filled 92 ox bags for me.  1.98each.

Then showed me the timmy hay.  I got a bag the looks over 92 oz for 5.00  I also explained the lip delima with cotton too.

Then the owner gave me a sample of alfalfa hay pellets for Cotton to see how it went.  Since he hates timmy so much I wonder if it is what is bothering his lip.  However I did switch his pellets to alfalfa once.  Didn’t help much.

I like that place too.  Real helpful kind people.  Wonderful.   OH and I found those wood stove pellets there too. The owner told me if I put such n such amt it will puff up to this big amount once wet.  He was funny showing me this.  Very helpful people there.  The litter pellets were 7.85 for 40 lb bag.  Said lots of people used it and lasted long time.  Even tho the bag looked small

So once I run out of aspen I will see how this goes.

the alfalfa hay pellets tho I am concerned he wouldn’t be getting right kind of fiber and wearing down of his teeth.  I meant to try those cubes.  Might be the time to try this out tho.

I took his scab off his lip looks raw when Ido that and I am sure it may burn too if he eats like an orange which he now refuses to eat. Poor guy. If I leave the scab it just grows so big.  There is no happy medium for this fellow.

He is chewing his toys up tho.  And zooming around the living room as well.  He can’t feel all that bad.
