        o.O I recieved her a week ago and hadn’t taken a pictures yet LOL. My house has been a mess that it hasn’t been bunny safe for small rabbits like her. When I first got her I made the mistake of letting her roam and she uh, squirmed behind the shelves that Onigiri likes to demolish (so that she may sit on them comfortably and peer around the room). So I laid two tables on their sides as a “wall” and threw a sheet on the ground to let her hop around on it. She was a bit “O_O” the whole time lol. My huge DSLR camera was apparently scary.

        She’s seven weeks old and half harlequin rabbit; I’m not sure what the rest is as the mother’s owner didn’t know either (surprise litter!) as she just got the mother herself. If you want to take a guess at her other breed feel free! She is huge though x_x Like, all of my other females are only slightly larger than her build wise at the moment - weight wise she’s still pretty light. I remember Sashimi, Tamago, and Oni all fitting in the palm of my hand at this age, but she needs two hands!

        These pictures arn’t “OMG AMAZING” though and I actually find them quite boring LOL.
        They should show, but if they don’t just right click and click “show image/picture” or whatever and they’ll pop up.

        But they show off her cool markings like her “angel wings” (or, devil. we’ll see >.>) on her shoulders, so they’ll make a nice drawing reference for later on ^_^

        I also took pictures of Glaze, Poptart, and Onigiri, so if anybody wants to see those just ask I guess lol!
        I didn’t want to spam the boards >.> or whatever.

            Wow! only 7 weeks? Maybe she’s got some checkered giant in her?
            Give her some nose scratches from me!

            There’s no such thing as too many bunny pictures. You do have the option of adding your pics to you profile photo albums I haven’t had a look…maybe you already have. But, we love seeing them here in the lounge too.

                  She’s gorgeous! I love black and white bunnies 🙂

                  I have no idea what her other half is … maybe English Spot or Checkered Giant? It would probably have to be something spotted since harliquins don’t have any white on them. I can’t really think of any other big breeds that are spotted – standard rex maybe? She’s certainly cute! I can’t wait to see how big she grows up to be. I’d love a big bunny.

                  And definitely don’t worry about posting too many pics. Post away!

                          That would be totally cool if she has checkered giant in her I love that breed, it’s so elegant! There are actually some breeders in this area too; though I’ve never come across any english spotted. Rex’s are another thing common around here too, though her fur isn’t rexie at all. Her siblings colors were the following: (her), black, black, tri-color broken, and a single lilac harlequin; but I don’t know a thing about genetics with rabbits >.>

                          I actually tried setting up an photo album but couldn’t upload more than two pictures o.O

                          It seems Onigiri has gotten a small fan group due to my signature LOL She’s a REW Lop mix. Miso is her mother. Her name means “Rice ball” but if you just call her “Oni” it actually means something like, oh “monster”   She gets called Oni more than Onigiri LOL. If you want to know how old she is you’ll have to look at my profile ._. I can never remember. She has a /slight/ vision problem and darts around my house like a drunk rabbit >.>;; Often times when she tries to focus on something, she’ll sway back and forth trying to get a better look… adding to the intoxicated image LOL.

                          Yeah, she has a dog hair stuck on her here and she wouldn’t let me pick it off!
                          Her ears also have a mind of their own >.> They’re the definition of “floppy” LOL.

                          I honestly have NO IDEA how her nose got dirty in this picture. It’s clean in all the other ones o_O

                          “I’ma eat your sheets! BAHAHAHA”

                          White bunny is… white >.>

                          GLAZE! The boy who would not stop headbutting me at the a local humane society for attention >.>;;
                          WHAT COLOR IS HE!? D: I’ve had him since December and I just can’t figure it out ;_;

                          His pictures are bleh because he was like “Eh? Bored. I’m sit in this corner and only move to dig up the sheet.”

                          His butt has a white “V” marking lol.

                          Poptart! She’s the same color that my first dutch (who was evil as hell DX) was but she isn’t so… evil.
                          Infact, at this point her and Pepper are my favorites because they haven’t given me that bunny drama -pokes Miso & Sashimi-
                          She’s never really seen my DLSR up close before (it makes a ton of noises, moves on it’s own, etc.) so of course she was like “O_O”.
                          I sadly didn’t take pictures of Pepper, mostly because of how black she is – my camera is stupid in that it (actually all cameras do this) only recongize colors -_- not… rabbits – which is what Pepper would have been because the slightest noise that comes up without her permission sends her running for cover. She’s just be in the shape similar to a black and white rocket o.O;;

                          ^Black feeties because her bedding/liner is newspapers >> My last job was delivering newspapers, so I have a TON of leftover papers in my garage. I almost wish I’d kept that job just for the free bunny-bedding LOL. (I’m so spoiled, free bedding and free hay o_O)

                          LOL Horse-face bunny <3 Her head so funky that it's oddly adorable.

                          “This wall is more interesting than you So there!”

                          There’s snow in the forecast >:] Makes for hilarious photo-opportunities.
                          Bunnies go:  ”UGH. WHATS ALL THIS WHITE STUFF!?”

                          Last time I put Sashimi in the snow she was like “… DO NOT LIKE. Can has walk?” and she moved as fast as turtle till she figured it out rofl.

                            So so cute! I want to steal Glaze and Poptart!!

                            As for colors – I’m not exactly sure what color Pikanya’s dad was, but he must have been something broken. He could’ve been a rex, just because rex fur is recessive so you wouldn’t actually get rexy fur, but I don’t think she really looks rexy. Hard to tell because she’s still young. I just can’t think of any other big breeds that come in broken colors besides E Spots and Checkered Giants.

                            I’m not sure about Glaze, my best guess is broken frosted pearl ?? Hopefully someone else comes up with a better guess. I’m trying to look up different colors on Google and see if the rabbits that come up look like him and I’m having a hard time.

                                ohh… I bet her father was something broken like you’ve said. When you mix a solid (her mother) with a broken you’re supposed to get %50 solid, and %50 broken. Two out of five being broken sounds… close enough. I didn’t know the rex fur was recessive o.O Wasabi was part Mini Rex and and she didn’t look like one at all – if anything just the way her ears were she reminded me of a dutch. It’s gonna be fun to watch Pikanya grow

                                LOL I’ve tried goggling for bunnies that look just like him ._. I’ve gone through so many colors only to be shown no, that’s not it LOL.

                                  I actually had a couple gerbils who were very similar in color to him – if he was a gerbil I’d say he was silver nutmeg 😛 Unfortunately the colors aren’t the same.

                                  Right on about the broken part. I’m trying to figure out if he had to be broken black … Since the mom was a harli, I guess she had the black gene in her already, so maybe the dad didn’t have to be broken black. Black is dominant, but lilac is not, so maybe the father was a dilute color and the dilute gene only shows up in that one baby. Or I guess both parents could’ve had a recessive dilute gene hiding in there. I’m not sure. Broken vs solid genetics are pretty easy, but I get more confused when it gets into actual colors. I’ll have to do some research (Petzy, are you out there? I think we need to research harliquin genetics now 😉 )

                                  Looking at her again, she does look slightly rexy to me. I dunno. Something about her tail and back end reminds me of a rex – I guess because they seem to have long tails that stick straight out and hers kind of does too. I haven’t seen many standard rexes though, mostly minis, so I should Google and find some pics.

                                                      I THINK based on your suggestions I think Glaze is either a broken sable point or a broken smoked pearl.

                                                      Broken Sable Point.
                                                      ^ See how the color on his butt is all fadey LOL. The only thing off is no grizzled color shows, but then again I think this is pre-molt baby hair.

                                                      Broken Smoked Pearl
                                                      ^ … Honestly the only difference I see here is the color is darker than the above and below.

                                                       WHO INVENTED ALL THESE COLORS AND WHY!? It’s almost like I need a color wheel, but for bunnies ._.

                                                       And thanks guys I really enjoy photographing them, and they don’t mind it unless they’re not used to my camera LOL. I was planning to become a professional photographer when I was in high school, but I don’t like working with the customers to much (unless family, friends, or I’m refered too by them) ;D So now I just spoil myself.

                                                        I was absolutely going to say a broken sable point, but his nose doesn’t seem dark enough – most sable points seem to have pretty dark noses, while his seems about the same as the rest of his body color.

                                                        This is the image that had me thinking broken frosted pearl:

                                                          ^okay yeah! I see it now. Plus the frosted pearl you posted has more griizzled looking fur (or frosted white tips rofl) then the ones I posted.
                                                          I just needed to see them all together at once so I could make a choice LOL.

                                                          …bunny color wheel. someone needs to invent that.
