Aww she’s so pretty. I love her coloring. Hehe cows’ noses make me smile!

Question: there seems to be marks on top of her head, like maybe where horns would have grown…. I didn’t know cows had horns…. was she “de-horned”?

Now I want my own heifer to lie on – it does look comfy. I was laughing at your “Little Annabelle” reference but then I saw the 4 butt shot…Lol!
She is a stunning colour and looks super healthy. We had the odd heifer around when I grew up but none like these!

If people knew cows like you do, nobody would eat beef.
You really trust them too… not to crush you! I bet they wouldn’t anyways…
My favorite photo is the one where Anabelle is cradling her head in your chest and lap.
Can I ask, what is going to happen to Anabelle? Will she be bred?

In the 3rd one she looks so perfectly shaped and symetrical. She is obviously very healthy. Nice shiny pillow, uh, coat.

Barbie— Yup she was dehorned , some cattle are naturally polled “hornless” while others have them , Its safer for them to be dehorned for themselve, handlers, and otehr aniamls. It doesnt matter the gender. She had a cosmitcal dehornization – which means they went in and complety took the horn out cleanly and then sewed the skin back up leaving a clean well formed upper head.

Petzy– haha oh boy do they still crush and step on you!Iv been stepped on sveral times by the big black and white one as welll as squished up againt the side of the fence and in between 2 cows!

as For Anabelle for me to show her next year since shell be almost 2 years old she has to be pregnat or have a calf on the ground. After im done with high shcool ,Shell be going back to her orginal herd fromt he people i ‘rented” her from and they are giving me money for college. The herd she came from was a smaller one of about 20 head with tons of land and very well taken care of!

and Tahnks all! I really wish you could see her true color its a more reddish viberant color in reall life!
