Oh my gosh! I don’t know what’s gotten into him.  He’s been such a little terror tonight!  He’s been such a butt – getting into everything, chewing up my textbooks and my backpack straps and he even squirmed his way into the closet to get at a pair of heels!  He’s been all over the couch and loveseat (even though I’ve trained him not to get up there).  And he stood wayyy up on his tippy tows to reach a coat I had hanging off the back of a chair so he could gnaw on one of the zipper pulls… I can hear him lurking around the kitchen right now, looking for scraps, or, more likely, ruining the rug in there.

Yep… I just checked.  He was ripping at the edge of the rug.  That was the last staw.  I put him away.  I can’t handle it right now! I have so much homework to do… sheesh.  I don’t know what his problem is.  It’s not like he’s not used to me doing homework in the evenings, but maybe he just wanted my attention?  He has plenty of toys if he wants them (which he never does) and he’s been out ALL day, so it’s not like he’s antsy from having been cooped up or something.  I fed him his breakfast and he has plenty of hay and water so it’s not like he needed anything and it’s not veggie time yet…I just don’t know why he was being so ornery tonight! I feel like I have a toddler I have to watch out for.  (But you can’t put babies in a cage!  ) Gahh!  Well, thanks for letting me vent! If you have any suggestions or how to deal with this goober, please let me know!

I would say it’s for attention. Mine every now then go a bit destructo. Or maybe it’s a full moon….
I wonder if he’s picking up on your tension about your workload a bit? Caging him might be only thing for now, then give him lots of attention when time allows. He’s used to having you at his beck and call do you think? tehe. Aren’t they all?!!

Lol, I think so Jersey. I’ve finished my homework for the night and have let him out… he’s still being a little booger, but at least now I’m just watching tv and can give him attention!

Hahaha the full moon… i wouldn’t be surprised

jack does that when he wants something from me or when he is bored. hes a little stinker. he will eat my shoes, bite my pant legs and get into everything. he usually either wants a treat, veggies, or for me to pet him. yes, they are just like toddlers!! i have a 1 and 3 yr old and after i deal with them i get the rabbits out after bedtime as if i havent had enough lol. its too bad about not being able to put them in a cage LOL- just kidding!!

Must be a Boy thing hehe. Moose has been being a little goober and tugging on his pen walls, moving them around… and he chewed holes in his blankies… Just bought 4 yards of fleece to make him more lol.

Nope, not a boy thing. Samantha has been digging her litter out of her box for 2 nights now, is in my bedroom and won’t come out for breakfast or treats, and is generally making a liar out of my bragging how clean she is.

I think Leroy wants attention, plus his lessons for tricks = attention AND treats. He is ready for more. Trick or Treat!

I thought this was normal rabbit behavior. I am surprised Leroy was only doing this last night

Hehehe, everyone, your naughty bunny posts made me laugh! Maybe it’s something in the air that’s making them do this….
Petzy, Leroy’s not usually this bad, but you’re right – they ARE little buggers!

Monkey is usually a quiet little girl, she just plays in her paper bag now and then. And then sleeps in it so we can’t find her

ugh, i totally understand. i’ve been sick for the past few days and have mostly been laying on the couch watching movies and stuff and MJ thoroughly disapproves. he’s been ripping up his boxes as loudly as possible and decided to fling litter all over the floor. if i’m not watching him, he jumps on the couch and nips at my arm to make sure i’m paying attention to the destruction.

i’m sure leroy just wants attention. bunnies aren’t very patient, are they? lol

Speaking of naughty buns, Bunspace’s current photo comp is titled “Getting into trouble”  Bunnies in their true form I think.  One of my personal favourites is one that doesn’t actually have a bunny in it.  It’s captioned by the owner.

“    Does anything else need to be said…?   “

I have to wonder if all the recent large earthquakes have somethign to do with the bunnies acting so weird, because my bunnies were in quite a state of agitation right before the Haiti quake and right after the one in Eureka, California.

*ahem* -pokes MarkBun- How’s Maryann these days? All quiet on the western bun? ^_^

MB, I’m guessing it was sampled while still in a wallet that was left lying around. Crafty buns. Imagine being out somewhere and pulling it out for the first time. Somebunny has expensive tastes! Do think it could still be used if the serial no. on it?

hahaha… all the naughty bun buns. pinky – unbeknownst to me – gnawed a hole through the bottom of the dresser drawer in her room. i was tipped off about this mischeivious act when i came home one day to find contents of the drawer strewn about the floor. included in the drawer were sentimental items like greeting cards i was saving from relatives who have passed on (my DAD for one) and old photos all of which have now been re-located with bunny holes / corners chewed off. >.<
