Hello, I'm Jodie aka Cherry 3.142, I've been looking through the forums and they have been so helpful, so i've filled out some profile info and bio for my bunnies, and thought I would get involved!
My husband and I have two chestnut netherland dwarfs, Chibi and Pixel. Chibi is 17 weeks old, neutered and is an explorer, he enjoys his own space but is happy to relax next to us and munch on banana chips. Pixel is almost 9 weeks old and will be spayed soon. She is calm, sweet, a little piggy and enjoys laying in amusing positions!
I've had rabbits in the past, but I was quite young so my parents did most the work, this is a new adventure for both myself and my husband and we are enjoying the ride! We decided initially to only get one rabbit, as a companion to us both, but since getting Chibi neutered we decided he needed a rabbit companion to talk to when he doesn't want to spend time with the human folk. Not much really to tell about me, I'm British and moved to the US in September to be with my husband. I do roller derby, hence the name Cherry 3.142 and I read and play video games.

Welcome! I'm an import too, but I'm from Canada And I also have a nethie! And oh MY yours are adorable! *rubs the little nethie tummy!* And I'm also a video game and book addict... are we related? lol! |

Welcome Jodi, hubby, Chibi and Pixel! They're soo cute!! I have a chestnut agouti too but he's much bigger than your little nethies. I find it fascinating how their coats can change week to week.
The first pic was near on size limit for attachment (300kb i think) but the other one of Pixel was huge!! Funny, given her name. You can resize on a photo editing program or if you have MS Paint you can do it there.

Welcome to BB! I love that second pic, Pixel looks so comfy! Sorry to ruin the chain but I have two nethies and can't play video games worth a darn...the only one I can kinda do is Dr. Mario (or tetris). But I AM a book addict so can I still be part of the Nethie club? |

You could be an honorary member And I know, I know... I r slacker. But I have excuses! Between car accidents, dental work (crowns suck) dealign with insurance, and physical therapy, my days are rather packed. Soon, I promise! |

It is so funny that so many of the nethie owners are gamers and avid readers too ; ) We did another neutral meeting yesterday with the pair and they are doing great, Chibi had her way with Pixel, and she submitted and today they went for a car ride together in the same carrier. They've been having a run about together as well in our main room and they seem fine, laying together, grooming each other and running around quite happily! |

I'm jealous.. Monkey is insane, I swear. I think she scares Moose Poor guy has to put up with a psycho mini rabbit chasing after him and trying to mount him every bonding session...its quite funny! |

Poor Moose! Chibi did end up with a lovely bald patch recently where Pixel over groomed him, he looked terrible, but thank goodness it's growing back quickly. We are planning on moving them into the same cage soon, but we've asked in another thread about making that transition. On the topic of video games, i've noticed that Chibi sometimes likes laying under the coffee table when Curtis is playing and just stares at the screen! |

lol, monkey sounds too funny. Sounds like Chibi got licked raw there, lol jeez. Is it very normal for bonded rabbits to lick that much? And about the video games... hm, i dont have a nethe, but Jack seems to like it when I play WoW since i let him run around my room when im playing. |
