  When she’s being the perfect pet bun. Last night was nail trimming night and because I had been working at the shelter so much lately, I picked her up correctly instead of scruffing her. Well she didn’t fidget in the least. I figured it just shocked her so she didn’t know that she was suppose to do her usual tormented dance like she usually does.
  
  Then I sat her on my lap and began snipping away at the nails. There was absolutely no struggle involved. I think she may have pulled her hind foot away once but nary a hair went flying during it. I put the scissors down and what did she do next? She climbed my chest for snuggling – which we did for 30 minutes straight. I only stopped because Dono began to make a racket as he couldn’t find his girlfriend.
  
  I swear, if she had given me kisses, I would have been up all night watching her as I’d have thought she was dying. But she’s fine. Eating and pooping and doing all that she normally does.

  What a perplexing bunny girl she is. I am glad she behaved so nicely for you. Hoping she keeps it up.
  
  Her and Donna may have planned this. I can see Maryan saying Hey Donna watch me freak our parent out. When she pics me up and does my nails I will be such a little angel snicker snicker.

  Maybe the noise was Dono following Maryann’s instructions on some evil master plan-and her part was to keep you busy. It wouldn’t surprise me in the least….

  haha – I hadn’t seen the gun belt thing. It suits her.
  I find when I put out that confidence vibe, that I mean business, Jersey responds much better to whatever I need to do. Perhaps Maryann picked up on your confidence and effficiency from after trimming all those shelter rabbits nails? It’s nice when you can get a break thru like this.

  Wow. I wish I could do something with my demon Marshmallow. I trimmed her nails just a few minutes ago and she bit me right on my side. Zinnia just made up for it by snuggling with me for the last 30 minutes. *sighBUNNYLOVEsigh*

  Addie, Ben, and Vin are all the same way. They wig out if they sence a nail trimming coming on. I’ve learned to just wrap them in a towel. I can slide out one paw at a time and trim it with no more fuss.
