  This is my shy little Daisy (he’s a guy, my bad) in a rare moment on the top floor saying Hello! This is normally Lola’s perch, she must inspect everyone passing through the room at face level. Daisy was an older, leftover Easter Bunny from the petstore. He lived by himself in a small glass case and would just freeze when anyone reached in because there was nowhere to go and nothing at all to hide from view.
  
  He comes out now and then and will explore with Lola, but prefers to watch the world from his many hidey holes in the condo. He lived with us over a year before the first time he came to the front of the condo on his own to greet me, so this was a treat to have him say Good Morning!

  I love Mr. Daisy! He’s just a sweetheart. I’m glad he’s finally trusting you enough to come out into the big scary world!

  thanks Sarita, he is a sweetheart. I just wish I could fatten him up a bit. It’s hard to sneak him pellets and treats when Lola can hear a crunch 2 rooms away. And sometimes I lock her out so I can give him a ration of pellets and he’ll sit by them and wait until I finally let her back in and they eat together. He’s quite the gentleman.

  I have to monitor mine. Lainey eats FAST while Gulliver really enjoys his food and usually closes his eyes when eating bananas! Daisy is one lucky bunny for you to take her…and quite the looker too!

  It’s so funny to me how much more assertive and aggressive the female rabbits are in the pairs! I see it all the time. One of my former fosters who I bunny sit has the same relationship with his girlfriend. She’s the top bun for sure. I just find it so interesting that it is that way.

  I know Lucy, when I pass out banana pieces, Lola gobbles and will take Daisy’s right out if his mouth and run away. I can’t keep giving him pieces because she takes them all…lol but he doesn’t seem to mind.

  Lainey takes treats out of Gulliver’s mouth too! I think it bugs me more than him…She is definately the one in charge.
